10/21/23 ~ This is an investigative piece regarding ants, parasites, and vitamin B12. I have a lot of questions and am looking for answers. Macro images taken with iPhone 11 will be heavily relied upon.
I live in an apartment complex completed in 2019. I’m the first and continuing tenant in my apartment. In 2020, sometime after the mask mandate started, my upstairs neighbor had bed bugs. He said he had to pay property management $500 for extermination.
In 2022 I had a lot of dizziness, despite taking huge amounts of vitamin C, and stopped cleaning communal cement by my front door. On 3/7/22 I emailed property management asking for spilled food to be cleaned up to avoid insects. Though I kept sending emails, some specifically mentioning ants, it wasn’t cleaned. On 6/17/22 I ordered Astaxanthin to use instead of vitamin C because I had a lot of hives, or so I thought, which I attributed to too much vitamin C, the way I’d gotten hives from much penicillin when I was a child.
On 8/7/22, I saw a bug on the side of my bed, swatted it dead, saw a blotch of blood, thought, “bed…bug” and ordered Harris Bed Bug Traps, and BugMD.The next day I wrote to Jeff Bezos, Amazon, in the belief the bed bug was related to a dress delivered from Amazon on June 2, 2022, from Amazon’s “Try Before You Buy” program, where clothes are sent for approval and often returned.
On 8/9/22, I again emailed property manager, Naomi, about the food spill, “Then there’s the whole problem of the unwholesome trash and filth that makes it too ugly to even sit outside by my door, not to mention how dirt like that attracts ants and other unwanted bugs.”
On 10/21/23, I felt something crawling on me 4 different times and took each off, attaching each to a lint roller. Later I circled and numbered them so I could find them more easily using my macro lens.
The first one looked like fibers from my flannel housedress. I’d been sure I’d felt it moving, but … fibers.
